Celebrated 25 with @spookyyycam and @aveuhflave (behind the camera). ✨ Two of my life’s best cheerleaders! They always see the good, always believe in more, and always lead with love. Very, very grateful to call them my friends. 💙

Do you ever just feel, like, really proud of yours

Do you ever just feel, like, really proud of yourself? I thought I’d be feeling it about my career right now, but I actually feel it most about being a mom. Despite taking on the role by accident, I’m a good mom—decent at the things I thought I’d be bad at, and great at the things I thought I’d be decent at. I talk to Annabelle in a way that emphasizes her value and validates her feelings. I stay on top of her development by tracking her milestones and finding the right toys and activities for each stage she’s in. I got her into the best school we can afford, and now I’m trying to get involved in its community. While there’s certainly parts of this mom thing that I suck at, I’m proud of myself for figuring it out for her. It’s been a fight, and it’ll continue to be, but for now it’s a fight I think I’m winning.
